I walked a new area this afternoon for an hour without any luck. I then changed gears and hit a field that I hunted last year but not yet this year. First target was the 1861 New Brunswick One Cent...a first for me. The condition is much better than the pictures appear...no pitting and just contemporary wear...tough to get a good picture in the bright sunshine.

And what hunt would be complete without an Leopaldshall Stassfurt lead seal...my 5th. This one was right on top of the ground.
