I wanted to return a ring, to the owner, I found on the property I've been hunting. Gold plated and toasted. He was not home. Had about a hour til sunset so decided to hunt a bit while waiting to see if he comes home. This is the only place I've hunted that has produced some silver this year. One barber dime and two merc's. Got the regular trash and rusty nails. Then a nice 87 about four inches down. My first silver quarter. Still smiling as I type this thread. I found a 48 wheat also. This is the newest coin I've found in this area. I've been posting my finds in the Indiana Finds section. Throwing that out there just in case yall want to broaden your horizons . Actually you east and southeast people are just killing us midwest people with your finds. I mean did you see that honker of a gold ring PhillyMike plucked from the ground? If I found something like that I'd call my boss and quit the job lol. Anyways, thanks for looking.
