1854 Napoleon III Empereur,Hercule,Indian Head Cents,1957 Peso & more

Went to the woods today and my first find was 1899 Indian Head Cent. This big Cotton Wood Tree was near by and I found all the other coins in the ground around the tree in different holes. The tree is about 9 feet around as I gave it a big hug to measure it.
The coins were 4 to 6 inches down.
The second coin was the 1854 Napoleon III Empereur. Worn out and cant make it all out. It has on the back DIX a D mint mark.
Than the 1875 Indian Head Cent.
The two wheat's were next, one is a 1938-S and the other 1958-D.
A few feet away was the Hercule ,with a hole in it and don't have a clue as to what it is.
Last was the Country Kitchen token with Country Gal on one side and Country Boy on the other.
And 1957 un peso. It has stamped on edge of coin LIBERTAD INDEPENCIAY.

The Mexican coin celebrates the 100 Anniversary of their Constitution. The image is that of Jose Morelos y Pavon. 10% silver; Mex. City mint and about 29M minted.
Don.......

I thought these finds were strange but then I thought many people may have sat by this tree over the years.

Some great finds RD!!! It's amazing how those foreign coins got around. I found the 1854 Napoleon III 29 mm copper coin shown in Middle Tennessee in May. HH, Quindy.

Those Napoleon III coins were spreading in the most mysterious way. I also found one but of 1861 (10 centimes). Where was you coin minted? Hercules pendant is probably late Victorian. During those times classic figures were in great vogue. Once I dug out a button with Hercules on it on a site of the 1890's.

There is a D below the eagle. Let me know were it was minted. I could not find anything on mint marks.

To the best of my knowledge, yours was minted in Lyon.

Ive found the Hercule coin too! Yours is in far better condition. Glad to see another. I cant find anything on it at all :(
