I purchased this for a dollar and I was wondering the value and any info on it I had a hard time finding info on the English Temperance tokens.

Hi -- I think this is more accurately a whist/ card counter / gaming token. The "Keep Your Temper" is advice to a card player not to get too angry while playing / keep your mind on the game.

This one sold for $15 but there are lots of varieties and the market can be up or down on them.
