the house is a very early 1800's home that the original owner bartered with the local indians to build.

Very cool find mate. Congrats on your first Large Cent. I find them very elusive in my parts. Only have two myself after nearly nine years of hunting. Keep us posted how that Nokta Impact is working for ya'. Seems to be a very nice machine. :icon_thumleft:

Very nice save....your're lucky to be able to dig the large plugs, usually I am under a size constraint...lessen in the woods..Congrats !!

Very nice. I think the nearest I will come to one of those here in Oregon, is what I see on T-Net.

Congrats on your first Large Cent. I like the looks of that house. I think I would hunt that yard 4 or 5 times before I gave up on it. That place just looks like a hot spot.

Congratulations on finding your first large cent! Looks like you had to do some serious digging to get that one out of the ground.

Congratualtions on the large cent find! :occasion14:

congrats on the find, I believe that it would take a miracle to find one of those around my parts

Super Sweet on the LC. I know you have got to be happy. I've yet to find one but it's at the top of my list. Congrats to you Mister.

Sweet find. Congrats on your 1st LC. I did one hell of a happy dance when I dug my 1st.
