Few finds from today 1844? Canadian half penny some buckles and a powder flask. Take a while to hike to this spot but hopefully I can find time to get a full day in. Maybe after a few frosts when the cover isn't so thick. Good times anyways even though my legs are on fire. Thanks for looking

Yeah I think the powder flask is the find, it doesn't look all bent up as is most often the case.
 

Nice finds for sure. I found the same half penny coin a few weeks ago. It's an 1844 pre-confederation, province of Canada, bank of Montreal half penny token. It's fairly common, but a very cool find indeed!
 

Sweet finds. The size of that half-penny shows just how much our money used to be worth. Congrats.
 

Thanks! The flask is really cool but it did open up a bit on one side and the top comes off. Maybe I'll get the soldering iron out and fix it up
