Found about 5 inches down in an outdoor hockey rink at a park. Anyone else do ok in hockey rinks? Found a bunch of modern change there, too.

Sweet save. No hockey rinks, yet. But I like hunting places others might think strange.

I try to think of dudes taking off their jackets or gloves, or pull things from pockets while on the ice and change or rings coming off. Then sinking into soft soil during melt. Who knows!

I have one I accidentally found with a bunch of other coins. It is in a little better shape than this one. But still not too good.
I have no idea if it's worth anything. But it was a find. They are tiny little coins.

The only ice rinks here is when the pond freezes over and even then you are taking a chance most of the time. great find

Those half cents are hard to find and your coin looks to be in great shape congrats on a great find hh gl

Nice find hopefully it wasn't in the outdoor rink here in amesbury cause I thought I vacuumed that area!

Very nice, I have only found 1 half cent. Not an easy coin to find. Congrats

The only half cents I find are zincolns that have corroded away.
