Adding to my large cent collection today with an 1822 and an unidentified copper 1.4" in diameter. This area was first settled by Europeans after 1670 with subsequent farms layered on top. Covered in forest growth now. Most of the coppers I pull out are very worn, especially the KGII halfpence. Seeing large iron spikes and plenty of early nails. Also tools and horse shoes but not many buckles and buttons. Plan to patiently pick away here for some days and sure to find more early coinage.
