Found this today at a 1828 house. 4-5 " down great signal.
Last of the year, bring on the snow..

That's a nice coin! Can read the headband even though it is crusty and dirty. And to think it was minted and possibly lost YEARS before the Alamo battle and DECADES before the Civil War. WTG!
