1817 Threepence

Hi All, I found an 1817 threepence MD'ing at a soccer field today. I have been trying to find something on the web to give me an estimate or value range as far as what it may be worth. Anyone have any ideas or resources I could check out? Most of the sites I've found on the web only relate to U.S. coins Thanks so much for any and all help!!! Sal

Nana and jbot, Thanks so much for the help. I tried the web site, but it does not seem to give values that I can see. Nice that they give a good description of quality rating. I will try to scan it and see if I can opst it. It's definately got some wear and scratches, but exciting none the less! My oldest find to date.

Maybe I am reading the info wrong on that web site...but here's what I get from it...

You own one of a set of four coins...called Maundy sets.....scroll down to the year you have.....look at the grade....get the price and figure yours is worth a quarter of the price of a set. Does that make any sense? LOL! I tried....
