I returned to the site I found an '04 IH and a '37 wheat. I felt like the site had something older to give up and man, it sure did.

An 1812 LC...my first LC and the oldest coin, by 20 years, that I've found.

A KY state seal button (militia?) that says UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL around the front and C RUBENS & CO CHICAGO ILL on the back. Any info would be appreciated.
Being a native Kanetuck this is by far my favorite find to date!

A cross that says,"I'm a catholic please call a priest" on the back and the largest flat button I've ever found or have seen.

If my wife asks where I'm at...tell her I'm by the old well! :tongue3:

Nice LC and Nicer Button! That LC would clean up nice in heated peroxide.

Very nice finds,I really like the button.
I tried to find info on the button's backmark and I can't find it.The only thing that I found was
CHARLES RUBENS & CO, 1883-1911.The button that you found isn't in Albert's Button book,
but it is close. So the best that I would say would be around early to mid 1900's.
But that is my guess.
Congrats on you finds, the button will display well.

Great time had by you. Nice detail on the Classichead L.C. They usually don't have this detail due to light strikes and low grade copper.

great finds!

Those Classic Heads are tough to come by! They were made of inferior copper, and didn't stand the test of time (kind of like our modern coins ;D). Yours looks like it is in decent shape!

Congratulations!
Neil
