Had another hunt with Robert from Addam's Relic Hunting Adventures with my dad and we both went home pretty happy! Dug at a spot that's had things come up from 1600's to 1900's. The place had been hit pretty hard but I still managed to somehow pull out an 1812 button that was only a couple of inches down and ringing in at a 51-52 on the AT Max. I thought it was going to be a nickel. I also dug up a few nice flat buttons, one that still has quite a bit of cloth tied to it and a very early "nipple" button from the 1600's. My dad dug his first civil war button and his first buffalo, a really clean 1913 second variant.
We were out from 9-5 and the weather was not great, but we still went home very happy!

Excuse the poor lighting with this one--it really doesn't do the button justice.
Here's dads finds.
HH and thanks for looking!
