Got out today with my buddy Dave to our pounded 300 plus acre site in western part of Virginia where we both live. Dug about 10 flat buttons, 1 dropped .56 cal 3 finger and an 1809 half cent; interestingly enough this is my 3rd US half cent, however upon inspection it appears to be an error coin or double strike on the Liberty Head; a first ever error coin for me. Any coin experts out there for this 211 year old coin? The XP Deus was smoking today! Happy a hunting !

Wayne

Nice Wayne! The Deus smokes every day! Aren't you glad I talked you into getting one. I don't think there's a machine on the market that can beat it!

Tough to tell if it’s an error, but one thing for sue, it’s a killer find!

Great day in the morning! Don’t see any double strike.

Looks like another face to the left of the better struck face. Stars look a lil' low as well.. CONGRATZ...

Oh yes Smokey! Because of your stellar finds and others on forums I had to pony up and buy this puppie which I did Feb 2019; what an awesome relic machine
