We headed out to a farm field in northern Maryland that has produced about 15 coppers and dozens of buttons. This was the first hunt since the thaw in this field. I dug down a few inches after getting a good signal and found my second half cent from this location - an 1808 draped bust! Still no silver from this spot, but maybe next time!
Good luck hunting!

A good day in my book. :icon_thumright:

SWEET! A half cent makes for a very sucessful hunt!

15 coppers :o You'd have to pull me out of that field with a tow truck to get me to leave. LOL

The silver will be coming very soon. Keep at it!

Wow, I don't live very far from you at all. Need a hunting partner?? Those are amazing finds! I was just given permission for about 50 acres of private property on an old plantation. Can't wait to check it out.
