had a great day!! i went hunting at a farm field that ive done before with little results. well today was different. i found my first draped bust large cent. it was one of my goals this year. she was the last thing to come out of the soil today. before that i got a couple of musket balls and spent lead. also found a nice silver ring. this is copper #2 for the year!! and what a coppa!! still have more cleaning to do. i couldnt wait to post it. i dont think its a variety type. theres a few. willy

Nice looking copper. Plenty of detail left on that baby.

Looks like you've got a nice spot.

Good luck !!
