Hunted at a house where I had some luck in the past. I found A beautiful 1902 V-Nickel which I had never found before. I also found a 1897 Indian Head, 1960 Roosevelt Dime and 8 Wheat Pennies. Some miscellaneous items I found include an Atlas key, some sort of brass piece of jewelry and what I assume is a broken lighter. There was a little plate that was in the same hole as the lighter, that says Novitas Sales company, Waltham Massachusetts. This is how I know that the item pictured is a lighter. I hate to say it but this was probably my last hunt before the snow starts hitting.:'(

Just for info I use toothpaste and tooth brush on the indians and don't really mess with the V's because they only look worse

Sweet i will try that out. Thanks!

If it is your last, at least you went out with a bang!

Nice finds, congrats on the silver Rosie! :occasion14:
I live across the lake from Rochester and I'll keep detecting until the ground is frozen!

Even with snow on the ground I'll then hit the woods.

Well I guess it doesn't have to be my last hunt. Maybe I will keep digging till the ground is frozen also.:icon_thumright:

Thanks for your service to our country. Great finds.

The ground will not freeze solid for awhile the woods and the waterfront areas take longer keep on digging. Last year I dug through January in NY state.
