1800 half cent?

Short backstory, my family property has been a farm since the early 1800s and for the past few years I thought it was strange because I never found any coins from before the 1960's, although I recently did find a bullet ball button, but today I think that may have changed! I think I have found a half cent minted from 1800-1808. the coin is really toasted with no hint of a date and you can barely make out the bust. I believe its from that time period due to the "drape" you can see around her shoulders. if anybody can confirm my hypothesis that would be great! also, is there anyway to clean this up without losing the detail? or a way to get more detail out of it?

Cool find. It does appear to be a DB half cent. I would not attempt to clean that coin any further, certainly do not rinse it or soak it. My first "copper" was a half cent. Well over a 100 coppers later, I have yet to find another half cent ! Congrats!
