Teenager Uses Shotgun to Shoot 2 Burglars, 1 Killed

An 18 year old Baytown, TX resident awoke to noises in his home around 5:30am.

Following a previous burglary about a month ago, the young man had been given a shotgun by his father for home defense.

Before going to investigate the early morning sounds, the resident grabbed that shotgun.

The resident found two intruders inside of the home and used the shotgun to open fire on both of them.

Both suspects were hit in the torso.


One of the suspects died after being taken by ambulance to an area hospital. The second suspect managed to get away and get himself to a hospital, where is listed in critical condition according to My Fox Houston.

Police are investigating the shooting, but don’t expect any charges against the shooter.

Police say the suspects may have been responsible for other burglaries in the area.

Nice, terrible that some trust in luck.

Anyone think that there are more and more of these? Although they keep arresting them, there seems to be more and more of them? I know in the recent past this was not a normal occurrance.

We had a bar shooting here last week 1 down 1 in custody 1 with crap in his pants somewhere. weekend had over 100 people show up at that bar for conceal carry instruction. all this from the news coverage of the event. Our Sheriff showed up and praised the bar owner for a job well down.
Problem is our police chief who is a RICHARD (short name fits) sucker of our Dem. Mayor won't give the guy his gun back.

Another job well done by the youth in America today. I hope Baytown PD will at least replace the rounds that were used.
