I finally went out digging today, went for about a hour before it got little to hot. Turn out to be a pretty good day. 1798 draped bust large cent. Flat button and some other stuff.

Very nice, that’s an oldie!

I wish it was too hot here. I’m already snowed in...sigh

Nice! 1700's Draped Bust with a clear date...they don't pop out much better than that, congrats. Ddf.

Killer old copper! :occasion14:

Excellent coin Tentis. I just cant seem to jump into that 1700's club. 1804 is it for me.

I hear ya...I've got an 1804 DBLC...but I did unearth a SLICK copper, appears to be KG but absolutely no marks, date...smooooth. O.D. and weight right..does that count? Lol..Ddf.

Congrats on the beautiful old coin. As you can see from the above post, breaking into the 1700’s is not easy. HH
