UPDATE: I JUST ADDED VIDEO OF THE COIN REVEAL (just having a little fun)

I went out for about an hour at an old place I call Colonial Parking lot. At dusk I had a deeeep hit. 9-10" down and through foundation rubble popped a green disk. It was too dark to ID so I waited...View attachment 1234454

I thought why not unveil it on video. But now I can't seem to figure out how to add one. Oh well.

Anyway here is the coin. She's toast but still hot stuff to me...

Anyway, had my first MD injury today. Tripped in the dark and shredded my palm on a rock. Finding a 1700's draped cheered me up, and some brandy in a little while will make me right as rain.

Enjoy

Steve,

Good score on the old copper....it's pretty beat up but still a neat find.

Very cool find in any condition :icon_thumright:

Good find steve..toasted or not. At least you can get the date.
The video you have to upload to youtube first..

Omg what a find....that's on everybody's wish list!

I'll trade you one that only has the outline of the bust and not a single letter or number visible! Just remember, they can always be even more toasted than that one!

Toasted or not. It's definitely something to get excited over. Congrats!

Draped bust "anythings" are always awesome- congrats!

Wow !! That's awesome, great find. Now it's saved from further deterioration . Enjoy, hope your hand gets better quickly. HH

Thumbs up all day for a largie... I tried today at a New OLD foundation in the woods... Nothing coinish this time... But lots of iffy targets.... Go back to your site and find another please!! :laughing9::thumbsup:

Nice one--enjoy the "John Barleycorn!"

Thanks fellas. I'm just glad I could pull a date. Found a lot of DBLC from the 1800's and even a 1794 capped, but never a 1700's draped. AWESOME!!!!

I wouldn't say it's toast-just warm bread. Congratulations-nice coin

They can be, and even worse than an outline. I've had one that I could ID only by lady Liberty's chin! Lol

Hope your hand is gonna be OK... nice LC.

ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1447291494.098470.jpgim no worse for the wear. My hands can't get much uglier anyway after 20 years of commercial fishing.
