Amazing that house has survived as long 220 + years. What kind of tree is that out under that power line? Could that be an original Jonny Appleseed?

LOL The Picture Doesn't Show just how Thick that tree is.
Wouldn't Surprise me to Find out it was Planted in the Early 1800's.
but honestly, I don't know how long Trees Last.
or Even what it is.
I wonder how many Kids played under it & climbed it over the Years

Are you going to or have you already gotten permission to hunt that before they start?

at this point just keeping an Eye Out for Someone on Site of the House.
Preferably Mowing.

Last year there was a Home Made Auction sign out front.
They pulled the sign right after I stopped & Snapped Pictures.
I figured Amish & didn't like me Considering it.
but apparently it Sold under the Table before the Auction.

at that point They put up no Trespassing signs & let things Go to Crap.

Now I see they apparently Bought the Land for other Purposes.
Either to Build a Home or Build a Business.

I'm Related to the Original Klinger Through My Mothers Side of the Family.
They were the first ones to settle in the Area in the 1700's.
So it has a Special Meaning to Me.
But again. First it needs to be Detectable.
Then I need Permission.

I hate seeing the old homes knocked down...would rather see them restored.

Had to Run Past the Klinger House Today.

Building out Back is going up Fast.
My Guess Business < Not a Home.
Because of the 2 Doors, I'm thinking Office to the Right ?

I glanced back towards it as i drove by, and all I saw was a large pile of brush.
Owned by a Local Saw Mill , So 50/50 on Getting Permission.

Will try tomorrow

The land is still there even though the houses are gone. Maybe you can still get permission to hunt the land. It's a shame to see the old houses destroyed like that! It's what is called "progress" I guess.

It is tough to read about this. I've seen way too much of this sort of situation...

scratch the c1800 house in Lamberson for now.

house foundation looks like this
