Got back to a location where I found a 1776 1/2 real recently. I knew there had to be more out there. Concentrated close to where I found the other one and this beauty turned up. My 4th spanish silver.

Doing the HD.

thanks for looking and HH

Wow. Nice detail on that one Bob :icon_thumright:

Thanks Mike, I was pleased with the detail. When I dug it I knew what it was but the light was fading so I couldn't see much, however I thought the detail would be gone feeling how thin it was.

That is a beautiful piece of Spanish silver!

Freakin' NICE Reale.... I only have one... and you can't read the full date on it... :( Sooo Sweet Find!! :headbang: :headbang:

Great hunts. Can you do a close-up shot of that button with the lettering??

Thanks Tigerbeetle. The button says Daniel Hays with D.H in the middle.

I wasn't sure what it was either, turns out they have been manufacuting gloves since 1854

Nice find man - big silver like that is tough to come by these days. I pulled one like it out of the river this summer - other than that it has all been smaller silver.

HH & Wish you many more

Dan
