Just wondering if anyone know the value of this coin? and the history!

From research I've read that this certain design with the different armour on was only produced during 1771-1775

Made from copper

Unfortunately they're not very rare so they're not worth much. I do believe you're is authentic and not a counterfeit, which are very common. I've dug about 16 or so KG3's. Love 'Em!!!

3rd time to edit. I really need to look at all the pictures before I post. It is a British imitation of the Machin Mill's halfpenny. You can tell because the shoulder of the bust stretches all the way to the edge. It is worth around $8-$15.

Highly doubt it's genuine. Lettering is very sloppy.

It's a British counterfeit halfpenny. Machin's Mills came later.

Yeap, & a pretty good example, although as we know it would be worth more if it were a worse copy.

Don't know how to tell the counterfeit form the real deal nor what is worth more. Any Help

I believe it is a contemporary counterfeit. Now, they can be worth MORE than the originals, fyi. I sold some of each type recently and got a little more for the contemporary counterfeits.
