✅ SOLVED 1763 mystery 1/2 Half Cent Found.. Help to ID!

Hello!

I've been on this forum for a few days now and I am totally hooked. I guess I would consider myself an amateur treasure hunter, and do it more for the enjoyment of the hobby. Anyways.. I found this cool piece in Long Island in the ground. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what it was.

The year of the coin is 1763 and it says 1/2 on top; it measures about ~.5 inch in diameter. Any ideas of what this may be will be greatly appreciated!
