It's in bad shape, but I found my first Hibernia half pence. I can clearly see the 60. My most common colonial coin find is the standard KGII half pence. The good thing is, it tipped me off to a cellar hole that I previously did not recognize. The colonials were crafty. They situated this structure mere feet below a ridgeline that takes a direct NW winter wind off of the ocean. That's all it takes to separate you from a freezing Jetstream. So now I have a new area to search.

Also scored the point and pipe piece on the surface while swinging the coil and keeping my eyes peeled.

Great finds!

That coin is really nice, but I think I like that arrowhead the best. Awesome surface find.

2 coppers and a point is a nice trifecta Eastender. Yeah I've found cellar holes tucked away in protected places like you indicate. Just being out of the wind can make the difference between being miserable on a cold night and being very miserable on a cold night. :laughing7:

Very nice finds, can't wait to see what else you pull from there, congrats!
