Didn't get out into the field yesterday but managed to spend today detecting in beautiful 70 degree weather.

Found this KGII HP about 6" deep in moderately sloped, well-drained soil. I didn't even wash it off yet. Probably won't.

Since resuming detecting after the hot summer weather, I have found five nice coins including a 1787 CT HP in great shape with a rarity of 5, an 1830 Capped Bust Dime (and a worn slick half dime next to it), an 1852 silver Trime. and now this HP.

I feel like the Manticore and I are on a bit of a tear. Feeling good about the potential for more and possibly better finds to come.
