Found this and two wheat pennies today. I thought is was a washer until I got home and took a closer look. I'm fairly certain it a match what do you think?

Cool find Daver...I found one last month myself and about went cross-eyed trying to i.d. it and find a match...there are so many version and varieties of Chinese cash coins..From what I read on these, they were brought from the Far East by the barrel full..which explains why we find them with such regularity. Mine fell into the same age category, but due to the market being basically flooded with them...was essentially worthless. But...I had a great time digging it and researching it and makes a great conversation piece..and hey..don't forget to post the Wheaties...we like them too! Ddf
 

I'm with dirtdiggingfool, if I find one and can ID it's a Chinese coin I'm good. Lol

"Chien Lung tong bao" cash coin from the mentioned period (Qing dynasty) nice find!
