I found the city its from and what it is but it doesnt help me. city: Nijmegen Coin: Rijderschelling (6 stuiver) but that is the only thing I can find about it. Anybody have an idea?!?

Very sweet coin! hoep u figure out what it is! i ahve virtually no expirecnce in forgihn coins! but it sure looks like it could be worth somthing!

Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

That’s a silver ducaton coin from the Dutch Republic (Province of Overijssel) minted between 1720-1764.

The obverse legend reads: MO : NO : ARG : CONFOE : BELG : PRO : TRANSI : (for Moneta Nova Argentea Provinciarum Confoederatorii Belgii Provincia Transisulaniae, translating as “New silver coinage of the United Provinces of the Netherlands, Province of Overijssel”).
