the practice of naming vessels after the owners "patron saints" often lead to multiple vessels with similar names within a fleet -- exsamples are patron saint of SAN MIGUEL* for Echeverz --- the SENOR SAN MIGUEL (NAO) --- the SAN MIGEL (THE DUTCH PRIZE GALERA) AND THE ENGISH PRIZE (A BALANDRA OR VERY SMALLISH FRIGATE)KNOWN AS the SAN MIGUEL DE EXCELSIS

Under Ubilla it was "Nuestra Senora de la Regla" as his parton saint -- both his flagship (NAO) and a much smaller ship the "Maria Galante" (friggatilla) were named by the religious name ---"Nuestra Senora de la Regla" ---the Maria Galante is often called Ubilla's second patache or friggatilla -- Ivan
