Hey guys found this on the beach metal detecting today. It's cast iron and looks like some sort of lid. It was pretty deep in the wet sand. Could this be from one of the Spanish ships that sank in 1715???

Not from 1715... unless that is not iron... if not iron the possibility does exist... IMO

What does the other side look like? It resembles a lid to a pot.
It does look like cast iron and I don't know if any cast iron was recovered from the 1715 wrecks.

IMHO, something iron from that period wouldn't hold up this well, especially on the beach.

Remember, they also fill (replenish) those beaches with inland sand, so that literally could have come from anywhere.

Cast iron would not look like that after 300 years, it would be just a concretion if anything was left.
