1700's Brass Spigot!

All of the items that were found at the this location are from the first half of the 18th century, all the way to the mid 18th century, so I guessed it was from that time, and after a little research on the spigot I turned out to be right about the age of it.

I was only detecting for an hour
to test out the new 15" coil.

NOTE: MORGAN DOLLAR IS FOR SIZE!!!

After cleaning it, I put it in one of my 2014 relic display cases (Last Photo)

Nice find, double nice display case!

That one is great! I once found a spigot that nice, even had the key. It was dropped near an old building. I left it in the trunk of an old car when I sold it. STUPID! lol
