1700's and 1800's buttons, nice 2 piece button, 1901 IH, early large cent and relics!

Got to hunt all day yesterday, which was a nice rare occasion! I started out early at a farm my uncle manages and went right to a spot where I had found some colonial goodies before. I hunted there for about 40 minutes. In that time I got 2 flat buttons, some sort of brass pin? and some sort of early large cent. Not sure on the type based off the bust, its a little hard to tell. I got a call from a buddy around 7:44 and I met up with him around 9:00 and we went to a couple sites, one colonial and another mid 1800's. He started out the morning well with an early quarter cut Spanish 2 reale. I hit in the center of the cornfield and the edges and got a flat button, part of a pocket knife, 2 parts to an early style door knob and what looks sorta like a rosette, but unsure. It's the round item at the top. We switched fields across the driveway where an old blacksmith shop sat and he was finding flat buttons, another unidentified coin and other stuff. I dug a very nice civilian style 2 piece button and a large dandy button. We took a break from this site since we knew there was a lot and it wasn't going anywhere. So we head off to a very historically known house in the area, permission to do in the yard and everything and very sadly it was fill dirt and it was obvious with every dig. :( Oh well, we moved to the surrounding fields and didn't find much either out there, surprisingly. Only good find there was a 1901 IH. We went back to site one and pounded right in front of the old blacksmith shop and started to rack up on the flat buttons. Also found some normal iron buckles, a batwing tip, couple round balls. All in all a decent hunt. No Spanish silver for me, but I'm very hopeful on my next return.

Thanks for looking and HH!
