Ok, looks great & you have practically IDed it already, although if you ask TimeKiller, I think he may have more to add.

Its rare to get them complete.

Not sure what ya asking?I think your on the right track as it looks to be tin glazed to me.With a design that would fit 1700's for sure.Could very well be 1600's though.
I've got to get ready to go to the doctor. Here's a site you can read a little. When I get back I'll look for some more through other sites I've got.

Tin-Glazed

That's a great find, and is definitely from the 1600s. I dug some slipware shards from a 1600s trash pit that may be from the same time period as yours, but I haven't been able to ID mine either. Appreciate any help with mine too. Thanks!

Also trying to place a value on it.

Now then, the value comes with the identication & history of the Wreck, more than the item, think of the everyday common items sold from the Titanic.

Or do you want the value of it as a standalone object?

I have found some info on this plate. It came off a wreck at Burrows Cay. The name of the ship is unknown. I called a close friend who I forget about that was on the boat when the plate was found. It is dated 1580-1620.

is Spanish pottery .... this pottery is the most abundant in my fields 1600´ S :icon_thumleft:
