Hi guys, got out yesterday and found this beautiful Thimble. Found in Hertfordshire, England.

I'm normally more into my coins but there's just something really nice about this... Possibly the lovely tactile feel to it, so I thought I'd share it.
Also found this lovely George III silver 6 Pence. 20200209_160833.jpgScreenshot_20200209-161250_WhatsApp.jpg

Congrats to you! Love the thimble. Personal items are always cool to find. Awesome silver too.

Thats a cool thimble I really love that coin I wish there were coins like that here in the US I would never sleep. Thanks for sharing those Tommy

How do you know the date of the thimble ? From the style ? 1500s is really old
The spiral pattern and the shape of the thimble itself suggests that date. Of course I could be wrong but from the research I've done it matches perfectly...also the field we're on has loads of medieval stuff on there.

Yeap, very cool, I like those 2. Each hole hand punched, you needed patience for that!
