Although I have a couple of barber dimes and mercs under my belt, I have never found a silver Rosie until today. And just beat the cutoff too as it is a 1964. I went out after work to an older abandoned home from 30s or 40s and was not dressed for colder weather, hence only fifteen minutes. Definately will head head back.

Congrats!!! Love seeing that silver in the hole! :icon_thumleft:

Ya, I know right, my heart lways kicks it up a notch when I see it. BTW I love my Garrette Pro pinpointer, what a time saver.

For some reasons those silver rosies are elusive, maybe 'cause they were scarfed up by detectorists in the early days.

Congrats on your first silver rosie, mjc! :icon_thumleft: Glad you were able to get out.

I have a Propointer too and love it...would be hardpressed to hunt without it. :tongue3:
