14KB chain

[Da Sand Crab]

I found a chain marked "14KB" on the clasp.
It looks and feels like the real thing.
My search online gives only speculative answers for the "KB" marking.
Some say its real and the "B" means it was made in Mexico.
Others say its a bonded gold plating.
My gold tester reads "not gold", which I should trust but I'm thinking
maybe it is gold but too low of a kt amount for my cheap tester to trace.
Any info would be appreciated.

We need a closeup picture of the mark.

Take it to your nearest pawn dealer and have it acid tested. I've never trusted those electronic testers.

...Yeah, I took a small file to it and cut through the plating.
