Never found one as fancy as this before. A 14K yellow and white gold engagement necklace iced out with 30 diamonds to a girl named Amy.
Didn't think it was anything special at first, initially thought it was just a plated kids thing. When I got home I washed it and it was then that I knew it was something much more! Did some tests and it confirmed as 14K! Also found the "14K" stamped on it which helped too, man was I surprised! Found at a beachfront park by the sea with the ExCal-II. Weighs in at 7.4 grams!
More pics of the back and side of it... It has a white gold front which is welded with gold beads to a yellow gold back.
It's a little squished but still very cool:
Later in the afternoon I had another surprise and another first! Closer to home I decided to explore more East River frontage. I walked along the low tide mark and there washed up in with the leaves was a $1 bill! But it had a blue seal on it! It was a 1957 Silver Certificate! I've never seen one of these in circulation let alone washed up in the water... still trying to figure out how it got where it was.
Video of me as I discovered the bill:
