My friend found this bracelet. 14K Italy. The hallmarks are a star (actual star symbol) followed by what looks like a 57.. Then there is a gap and says AA... so essentially this: (*57 AA) the asterisk would be the star. I did the best I can w pics. Any info on these marks?

If this was found in the ground and there are no obvious signs of corrosion ... then it looks real to me.
If it wasn't found in the ground, I'd take it to a jeweler for an acid test to be sure! :icon_scratch:

Looks real,I imagine the marks are makers marks and maybe date letter. :icon_scratch: I'd say its real but have it tested to be sure. :dontknow:

Keep @ it and HH !! :hello2:

Found this not able to find province but this is a good starting point

Italian hallmark- star, number, and 2 letters. This indicates the "Star of Italy, number is the company and the 2 letters indicate the province the company is located. Gold sold in Italy must be 18K,(750). Less than by law, is exported.

Awesome find that must be on the heavy side! Congrats. Definitely get it tested, & get yourself a test kit!
