Dug a bullet today. Measures 13mm in diameter and about 27 mm long. Just curious as to what type gun fired this shot

Modern, but not necessarily modern muzzleloader. .50 cal = 12.7mm. Yours may also be a .50-90, a .50-70-1-3/4" Sharps, etc.
