Hello friends! :hello:
Yesterday it rained all night, so the day was cooler and the soil of the vineyards was easier to dig for three hours.
Today i have not finding Banner ;D .... but not too bad, a Medieval ring, is very small, probably a child (a few months ago a very similar find in a nearby field ... and I will show that day's post) ... also a medieval buckle, a leather Medieval ornament with a shield ( Gold plated in bad conditions ) a small hammered coin and 5 pesetas of 1888, this coin was not entirely of silver ,representing King Alfonso 13 newborn ...... are coins that were manufactured in illegal mints, but the state allowed their movement to devalue the currency at a time when Spain lost what little remained of the empire and did not have enough money to make these as big coins ... is five times larger than a Sacagawea dollar .
But they are the most beautiful coins that circulated in my country .... the bust of King newborn is very nice (something like a token ... but very large) . :o

but it is very difficult finally know the century, as classified only as Medieval Ring ... nothing more.

What wonderful finds Hispan. I really like that ring. After so many amazing finds, do you still get excited pulling such historic artifacts out of the ground?

I just get excited when a special find.
I have to tell a story .....
Was about to discard the medieval seal matrix that thought was the handle of an old piece of furniture .... I only realized the great find when I get home and clean it up a bit. :laughing7:
And a few months ago hunt a ring exactly like this .... Here I show the post. :o

I realize that my camera is very bad and is broken, buy one as soon as possible .... the picture quality does not meet quality landscaping.

If these rings are interesting and silver are completely good, I think they are memories of a pilgrim of some nearby shrine, in the same area. (I show the picture of them together)
He did not know the strap-junction and I had not realized that this represented the end of an snake head or Dragonesque ? ... casually but appear both broke the same end ... repeat is amazing how the same types of artifacts in the same place ..... but not duplicate gold coins! :laughing7:

Yes, I saw the debased beast head design which puts it in the medieval period (circa 13-14th C), also realised it had a similar 'hook' missing on one side. Which could be where you slip a leather strap on & off, maybe a strap for both sides, plus the main loop or multi-functional for left or right choice with 1 strap plus the main loop. So a two-way or three-way junction.

As always amazing finds :o
But the medieval silver ring, in that condition !!
Another banner find for sure....
I don't think they will put two on the same page though :icon_scratch:\
Congrats on the Stunning Ring !!
