Went out today for a hunt on the beach. Probably my 6th target of the day out pops a nice 14K gold pendant. We continued to hunt for a few hours and I started to hit a part of the beach with lots of lead targets. Grabbed a 925 silver ring out of that area. I got lower towards the water and finally grabbed a 14K gold ring. Sadly the diamonds aren't real, but I'm really happy to add to my gold pile finally!

I have always heard where ever you find lead sinkers you need to hit that area hard because things don't sink in the sand as fast. Good job

Thanks TexJim,

Someone told me that lead is the same general density as gold, so when you find lead it means that gold could have been "pushed up" by large waves or it could have stayed in place when big waves were pulling sand off a beach during a storm.

Man you were busy.
Nice finds
