12/26 - slim pickins on the beach

Found these guys today on the sound side of Pensacola Beach. The shell casing is headstamped "RA" & "18" (hard to see). Think that's Remington Arms, mfg 1918. RA18.png20181226_174152.jpg

Where in relationship to the fishing pier do you detect? I get down there from Georgia 2 or 3 times a year and would like to bring my machine and give that beach a try.

My plan is to cover every [legal] square yard! I live down Fort Pickens Road, so I'm usually to the West of the pier. Always up for a hunt anywhere out here, though. Tourist season's coming = $$$ !
