Found this blade this morning was the last sandbar to check before creek passed thru different landowner,Ive been waiting for the rain to do its work still hasnt but i couldnt resist going, glad i did.I believe the material is Delaware chert.Keep on lookin...& Happy holidays to ya all...

Nice find Pick, it's great to get out, after the rain. Its rainned here for 3days/nights, just waiting for it to dry a little, so I don't get stuck in the mud again.

Thanks Molly, havent had a good rain here since July,
Some better pics piece has some great pressure flaking around piece hard to get a good pic of.Also thin, length 3 1/2".

Who, killer find, great In situs. Its a screamer for sure. what are you typing it as far as age? I got my opinion. congrats John

Flintfinder, really i have no clue,I'd guess late archaic -woodland however the square base makes me wonder?

Those close ups have me wondering more about the type now then when I saw your earlier pics, Transitional probably, Delaware for sure AND AWESOME! ;D

WOW !!, One of the nicest insitu pic I,ve seen [ 2nd from top , colors seem to work ] .., although , I must say it looks good in hand as well !! :thumbsup:

That's awesome. We use to live in Michigan so I know what it is like to be out there facing the elements. Any finds during the winter months is great, especially the one you found......Mud
