We got an inch and a half of rain on Thursday night. Too much rain in a short period of time isn't good as most of it will run off instead of soaking in and saturating the soil. Anyone who has been at this swing of the coil thing for awhile,, will tell you that a good rain will wake up the signals. So yesterday I once again headed up to a place that has been producing silver but has gotten stingy lately. We haven't gotten rain in the NYC area for over 60 days.
Well,, call it a coincidence or whatever but if you count the 2 foreign coins, I recovered exactly 100 coins in a 6 1/2 hour hunt. The Silver 1951d Roosevelt Dime popped out of the ground about 5 hours into the hunt. It is Silver Coin # 110 for 2015. I also managed to recover 2 pieces of what was once a Sterling Bracelet.
My finds for the day were: 12q, 13d, 3n, 63 memorials, 6 Wheat Pennies, (46, 47(2), 50, 56, & 5?), 1 Canadian Penny and a Polish Coin.
