Went out for a number of short hunts during the week. First time was with my XLT as the CTX was out for repair. CTX came back the second day and went to the same spot and found 4 silver dimes, 3 or which were in a small area I hunted the day before with the XLT. While hunting the same spot with the CTX I also found a lot more wheats. All these finds came from 2 yards I had permission to hunt. The pocket dump of 2 Washingtons, a Merc, Roosevelt and 2 NYC subway tokens came from the yard of a home built c.1750 and I was told had been metal detected before a couple of times. The SLQ also came from the same yard. I was a bit surprised I wasn't hitting the older stuff. I'm hoping to get back before things freeze solid. BTW, the copper is toasted and I haven't been able to figure out what it is yet, but it's not an LC. The nickel is a part silver war nickel. I spent about 10-12 hours detecting total and any time I can average a piece of silver an hour I'm a happy camper.
