11" dd coil 1 year use still as confused as day 1

Teknetics delta 4000, 11dd coil. Tried it out again today at the park (glad I bought my 8" stock too). I fire it up, it was stable at sens 10... no chatter at all. I sweep a repeat target and it goes nuts chatty kathy. I turn sens to 9, still bonkers, 8, 7, 6 and it settles down around 5. Try turn it up again and at 10 its fine. How this is.. idk. The same thing happened over and over. Even ran sens at 8 and rinse and repeat. While out at a park far in the field away from noise, same thing. Found no targets or maybe coil relayed bad numbers who knows. Got tired of it and threw the 8" concentric on it and ran all day sens at 11-12 found 2 quarters. Coil bad? Kellyco sell me lemon coil? I wish I knew on day 1 what I do now but im no expert and im guessing they were counting on that. Looks like a wash for me $$$.

I found with my gamma 6000 my cell phone was making it go bonkers. I have to turn my cell off or leave it in my car when I go hunting. I thought maybe my 13" ultimate was defective but it also did it with my 8". If it's only happening with your 11" then maybe it is a bad coil or there's just too much trash deeper down all over your park that is making it go crazy?

but it sounds like a bad coil...i would take it to the country in the woods, and see if it still does it....no power lines,cell phone or steel toed boots.
