11/2/11 beach finds

2 hours with good visability for a change. 2.5 lbs of sinkers,4 ships spikes,a 1977 dime and alot of nails and trash.

I like those ships spikes you find , A lot history there. Were there A lot of ship wrecks there or was there A ship yard ?

mostly from 1 shipwreck, I get these in alot of different sizes and lengths. I am pretty certain it is from the beaver which sank in 1771 on her maiden voyage. I am doing a speach/lecture on the 28th of november for F.A.R.C. firelands archaeological research center group.
