Sohio, I have one in my truck right now that I found looking for hemeit earlier. Mine doesn't show very nice working, ( large reduction flakes) so I didn't post it. What are they, choppers or preforms? Old Digger, it that one that Sohio and I are talking about totally uniface, or does the one side have minimal work done to it? Nice day's finds. No eccentric, but still nice. Man, I can't believe your eccentric didn't make banner. I'm still ill about that.

Looks like a good walk to me. Nice finds

The scraper that that you have refered to is unifaced and worked only on the one side.

Thanks for your input!

The one that you pointed out SOHIO, looks like it might have been hafted onto a handle at one time. This may be one of the first thumbscraper with an extention for hafting that I have found.

I've always imagined that those pcs were held by the smaller end by hand, but you may be right about the hafting, i have at least 50 just like that must have been a popular tool with the folks here around "The Raccoon" I have them in lots of different sizes too, a few as big as my hand.

Thanks! Makes us wonder?
