I was looking forward to an week day hunt and thought I would give the XLT a short run to get it ready to go. I took some time at a sports park just to kill time and see what was there.
Started out with a few clad, then got a strong hit and stared pulling up quarters and they just keep popping out. After I got to the house I dug $11.04 in less than an hour. Not bad for a test run. There was $9.00 in one hole. This could have been Gold or Silver, not today looks like I'll get me a sandwich and drink. lol. Now I just have to get to the good stuff........HH and thanks for looking.

Wow, great run! Congrats and HH!

Very cool find and especially to find them all concentrated together :icon_thumleft:

Looks like someone dropped a roll and the paper deteriorated away. Sure there wasn't 4 more quarters there? :icon_thumleft:

Somebody lost moms laundry money!!

Awesome, My best hour is like $8.00, happened last weekend. Of course, my wife was swinging with me.

i like the $50.00+ an hour days myself..... good hunt

a great find, it had to be a roll, awesome!

Beats my ten cents an hour. An XLT was my first machine when I got back in the hobby in 2007. I found some great stuff with it and I think it has been one of the deepest machines I've owned.

The I.R.S. Agent reading this is trying to decide if he should audit you now that you have exceeded minimum wage. He will want to take part of it and give it to someone who doesn't metal detect!
