Hello guys. Thank you for the comments.
Listen!
One day,on a small beach, I found two ottoman coins from about 1600-1700 so I decided to turn back the next day.
The next day, after searching for 10 min I found a German coin dated 1946 and than some euros. Then a guy came and told me to stop what I was doing.
Me: Why.
He: because the owner told me so
Me: tell him to come here and ask me by himself
He: he can not
Me: I'm not going to stop then and so he left but after 5 min another one arrived
He: mister stop it
Me: why?
He: cause you are not allowed use this one here
Me: this what?
He: this thing
Me: what is this that I can not use???
He: this machinery
[emoji12][emoji12][emoji12]
I told him if he wanted me to stop he should call the police.

After 10 min I found this coin.
So guys
NEVER GIVE UP

That don't fly here in the U.S.
Ruin it for others here if you do that, someone will start a petition, usually a idiot liberal and then a whole township will ban metal detecting.

I wish i could find others like that [emoji1]

It doesn't matter where but nobody can tell you: CAN NOT DO THIS if they don't know what it is. If he didn't know what I was doing how can he know if it is allowed or not. That's the point. [emoji106]

I am in awe. It is always amazing to me that the super old coins fare better in the ground than modern day clad. Congrats on a super neat find.

I have one similar to that, any way of finding a value to these?

Have some nice pics of it and Post a new thread. Where did u find it? I have seen them in ebay around 100$ but never found the same to this one!

I sent pics of mine to a guy from Helvetica , on Wildwings and this is what he answered:

Line 59 in the "byzants" list, "Cross" page:
Note: the last letter on the reverse is a thin Delta. The legend might actually be C-A-R-D with R and D in Greek but the general consensus is that the second letter is an R and the third a P.

Romanus IV AE follis. Constantinople mint, AD 1068-1071.
Obv: IC over NI to left, XC over KA to right Christ, MB,
bust facing, dotted cross behind, holding book of Gospels.
Rev: C-R-P-D in the four corners of a cross with globe and
dots at the ends, X in the centre
SB 1866, DOC 8.

Your coin was much nicer than the second example on wildwinds so I have just replaced that one with yours.

Your coin is now on wildwinds
